We at TV Engineers and Repairs know that today’s discerning consumer wants the best value for money and the highest quality service available, and that’s why we’re putting together this resource. We also wish to see the people of the UK supporting their local television repair centre.

TV in living roomWe want the general public to think about repairing rather than recycling their LCD, LED and Plasma televisions when they are out of warranty, even if they consign them to a secondary room and buy a new one.

Replacement costs are still usually more then repair costs, and with service centres and qualified tv engineers up and down the country, there’s no reason why a tv fault should at least be diagnosed and quoted for repair.

Our “throwaway” attitude does not serve us well – buying new rather than repairing is financially wasteful – not to mention harmful to the environment.

There’s no doubt that the next few years will see rapid improvements in televisual technology as high-tech consumables remain buoyant in a generally depressed market, and the challenge will be for tv engineers to upskill and be ready for the demands of the TV Repair of tomorrow.
